Bjørn Moe is the conductor and artistic director of Nidarosdom’s Guttekor.
Bjørn started his own musical career at the age of 8, as a young soprano in the Nidaros boys’ choir. Since then, he has risen in the ranks, and has been the choirs conductor and musical leader since 1973. He was also professor of music at the University of Trondheim (NTNU) from 1973 until 2015, where he specialized in the education of future choir leaders. He is widely recognized as one of the leading choir trainers in Norway, and was awarded the King’s medal in gold for this work in 2002.
